Short Information : The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2026 notification under the Agnipath Scheme. This recruitment is open for unmarried Indian male and female candidates who have completed 10+2 standard (Science or Non‑Science). Selected candidates will serve a fixed four‑year tenure.

Age Limit
Minimum: 17½ years on the date of enrollment
Maximum: 21 years at enrollment (born between 2 July 200 and 2 Jan 2009)
Eligibility Relaxations: Only for female marriage/pregnancy clause, otherwise strict for unmarried candidates
Educational Qualification
Science Stream
10+2 with Physics, Maths & English, at least 50% aggregate and 50% in English OR three-year engineering diploma (relevant streams) with similar marks
Non‑Science Stream
10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, or
Two-year vocational course with similar marks

Selection Process
Phase I – Online Test (CBT)
Phase II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Phase III – Adaptability Test-II (service-specific drills)
Phase IV – Medical Examination
Exam Pattern (Phase I)
Science Group: Physics, Maths, English – 60 min
Non‑Science Group: English, Reasoning & General Awareness – 45 min
Combined Group: All four subjects – 85 min
Marking Scheme: +1 per correct answer, –0.25 per wrong answer, no negative for unanswered
Physical Standards
Height: ≥ 152 cm (male), ≥ 152 cm (female)
Fitness Tests: Push‑ups, sit‑ups, squats (times and reps differ by gender)
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Stipend:
1st Year: ₹ 30,000
2nd Year: ₹ 33,000
3rd Year: ₹ 36,500
4th Year: ₹ 40,000
Other Benefits: Uniform allowance, medical, insurance, CSD facilities
